Meet the Team

Katherine has over seven years of experience as a remote tutor. She received a degree from UC Santa Barbara in Cell and Molecular Biology. She excels at using visual representations of problems to really help students grasp concepts. She is currently in her fourth year of dental school at the University of Utah School of Dentistry. 

Peter has over three years of experience tutoring physics and chemistry. He prides himself in his ability to help students develop their critical thinking skills. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from  Central Michigan University. He is currently in his fourth year of dental school at the University of Utah School of Dentistry. 

Maribelle is a student at UC Santa Barbara in her second year, studying Environmental Studies and Financial Math and Statistics. She was a private tutor in her senior year for all subjects for high school students, and additionally volunteered through the Mu Alpha Theta society to teach a variety of math subjects to middle and high schoolers, including algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus. 

Ammar is currently an undergrad pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Data Science at UC Santa Barbara. Over the past three years, Ammar has worked at after-school programs and summer camps. There, he gained experience working with students in both academic and recreational settings. He prides himself in adapting to each student's unique learning needs.

Aiden attended Washington State University and received a degree in Biology. He enjoys tutoring English and History. Aiden focuses on identifying each students learning style to convey information in the most comprehensible way possible.  

Emma is originally from Hawaii. She attended Seattle University and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Business Administration. She focuses on cultivating learning strategies with her students.

Granger attended the University of Utah and received a degree in Biology. He now attends the University of Utah, School of Dentistry. He believes learning should be fun and focuses on creating a positive environment.
